Our certified DV postage metering process produces electronically franked documents. All postal requirements, such as sorting, postage calculation and franking, are handled automatically here. Depending on the requirement, the system generates markings to control the envelope inserting systems and insert feeding.

The electronic route sheet clearly lists the converted data, divided into jobs and batches. The actual physical production process begins with the electronic route sheet. The electronic route sheet accompanies the job through the further production steps.

Hybrid mail makes it possible to send letters virtually to a print center near the recipient, where the mail is printed, folded, enveloped and handed over to the postal service for delivery in good time. Unlike before, companies' letters are no longer transported over long distances by truck, rail or airplane for hundreds of kilometers, but are sent digitally to the destination and only printed there in a print center, where they can be pre-sorted until the mail carrier's route. This new technology saves time and money and is good for the environment.

With FP BusinessMail, we provide all the technologies required for the hybrid mail process.

For each shipping order, our postage optimization finds the most cost-effective option from the many discount possibilities for the various shipping types such as letters, Infopost or Infobrief.

For example, if you send a mailing with one cover letter per letter, you can use the remaining residual weight of the respective postage class to send it postage-neutrally with an attachment. Inform your customers about news from your company, send newsletters, flyers or other information with your mail.

Our software solutions and mail services are fully automated and determine the correct postage class for:

Standard letter

We pick up your business mail and the business mail of many other companies and deliver it sorted and stamped to DPAG or to alternative delivery services. For submitting large quantities of sorted and stamped mail, we receive discounts, which we pass on to you for the most part in the form of monthly credits.

We also consolidate mailings intended for the same recipients into parcels according to your desired criteria, such as “same recipient address” or “customer number.” This saves you postage.

After the data streams have been converted, each mailing receives a barcode with its own mailing ID, which is used later for completeness checks. During enveloping, this barcode is captured by high-performance scanners. Double production is therefore ruled out, as the system does not print identical IDs and this information is passed on to the monitoring system, which handles the receipt, control, processing and further processing of the data.
